With "Back 4 Blood", the creators of "Evolve" at Turtle Rock Studios released their latest multiplayer shooter for consoles and PC last year.
After it was pointed out before the official release of the shooter that "Back 4 Blood" should be supported with new content over a long period of time, Creative Director Phil Robb spoke in a question and answer session on Reddit about the future of the multiplayer shooter. For one, he pointed out that future characters will only be offered in the form of paid DLCs. The players are given the choice of whether to purchase the characters individually or as part of the respective season passes.
Currently no further PvP modes planned
As the "Ask Me Anything" round progressed, players explored whether and when to expect more PvP content. Here Robb admitted that the developers at Turtle Rock Studios are not planning any new PvP modes. Instead, new maps and various quality-of-life improvements are currently being worked on, with the aim of further optimizing the overall gaming experience of the "Back 4 Blood" community.
